Place where manufactured Newark, New Jersey, USA Date or Years Manufactured 1965   That was all I could find about it......here is what I can tell that I see and that I verified the best I could..... This unit folds up into a neat little package! Overall it's in Very Good Shape! When it's all folded up it's 14.5" Wide x 12.5" High x 8.5" Deep. This thing is HEAVY too! Over 25 LBS!! That's before Packing material! Thank Goodness it's FREE SHIPPING! On the outside of the case, you have a handle (still intact!), 2 clasps to lock the speakers down, there are 2 External Plugs for the speakers and the Power Cord plug. When you open the unit up, there are several buttons & knobs. 2 Volume buttons (1 is Power button too), 2 Tone Buttons, 2 Microphone Jacks (Microphones Included), 2 AUX Jacks, 2 Meters, 1 Record Button, 1 three Position Knob for REW, STOP, PLAY/RECORD, a FF Button and a 3 Digit Indicator/Counter. There is something on Top of the "Head" that says UP DOWN 3 3/4 - 7 1/2. I plug the power cord and the unit came to life! There is a noise that sounds like a motor running. If you hand start the one "Reel", it will spin. That's about all I can tell you. I did NOT hook up the speakers or the Microphones! I would have no way to check them! I have NO IDEA how this thing works! That is why there is no Return Policy! I don't know enough about this to offer a Return option!
