Here is how the tubes were tested - on a professionally made tube tester to test the likes of these tubes like 211, 845 and 212D,E. Test result of the first tube : Filament : 10V Bias : 46V Plate : 1000V Plate Current : 53mA Test result of the second tube: Filament : 10V Bias : 46V Plate : 1000V Plate Current : 55mA You can see the test results are almost identical 53mA and 55mA. The professional tube tester has a maximum 10V on the Filaments only and a maximum plate voltage of 1000Volts. This is more than enough to cook and test any of these giant tubes to make sure they are good. At higher operating voltages I am sure the tubes will even test much better.
