Description
Pair Western Electric 212D Tubes. Measures 13 1/4" x 3 1/4". Net weight 1.5 lbs/0.8kg. This is one super pair of the rare mid 1930's Western Electric 212D Vacuum Tubes. Look at the size of them. I am not selling one but two of these giant beauties. You are bidding for 2 of these Western Electric 212D Tubes. Yes. One Pair. Printed on glass Western Electric 212D. But wait there is more... These tubes are even tested and are guaranteed good! Yes again. Guarantee Good Tubes. No Shorts. No Gas. No loose particles. Good tight bases. Here is how the tubes were tested - on a professionally made tube tester to test the likes of these tubes like 211, 845 and 212D,E. Test result of the first tube : Filament : 10V Bias : 46V Plate : 1000V Plate Current : 53mA Test result of the second tube: Filament : 10V Bias : 46V Plate : 1000V Plate Current : 55mA You can see the test results are almost identical 53mA and 55mA. The professional tube tester has a maximum 10V on the Filaments only and a maximum plate voltage of 1000Volts. This is more than enough to cook and test any of these giant tubes to make sure they are good. At higher operating voltages I am sure the tubes will even test much better. Check my other auctions for a single WE 212D with printed letterings on the aluminum tube base and more ... Thank you and Good Luck : ) : )
