The image above shows the adjustments for where the press slows down and how far it backs off before the next cycle.The images below show the massive oversized platten plates that appear to be solid stainless steel. The counterweights behind the dish allow for very good balance and make it easy to move by hand as well as servo motor (when the brake is off).  Note the big trailer leveling screws in the image below.The image aabove shows the rotation axis brake and servo drive motor.  The image below shows the video camera and zoom lense with the cover removed (left side behind the dish). The image above shows the tilt axis drive motor and brake with the cover completely removed.  The test leads were being used to power off the brake and power the drive motor.  Above the drive motor with the cover half removed is the tilt axis encoder or resolver that provides tilt position feedback.   The image above shows a leveling vial mounted to the unit. The images below show more of the antenna reciever input electronics. The image above shows a base leveling screw (not needed with the trailer leveling) on the right and the covers over the coax connectors on the left.There is a 3-pen strip chart recorder mounted to the deck of the trailer. The servo power drive electronics are mounted inside the base chamber cover as shown above.  The rotation axis position feedback sensor is shown above.The  dish focal point is just under 4 feet from the inside center of the dish.
