Will this product control the ringing etc of all the phones? Answer: If you know where is the incoming head line, then this device will work for all telephone in your house. This device only control the followed telephone or answering machine. Here a message from our customer: I have re-setup the unit and it seems to be working OK. What I did at first was to set it up on my home office phone which I thought was the "main line into the house" ..It wasn't so I checked out the other 2 lines in the bedroom and Kitchen/Rec room) area and I discovered that the main line in was the kitchen-recreation room area so when I set it up on that line it seems to be doing the R list OK. I think we have the problem solved, .. you might want to make a setup note to the fact that this must be on the first/main line into the house and will not work correctly on any extension phone except it will display "caller ID's" but that's it ..no ring control for R list unless it is on the main line in.. Question: Can you block blocked and private calls with your Phone Controller? Answer: Yes, It did block any calls if you do not like including "blocked", "Private" and "Unknown". This device assign 000-000-0000 for these calls. So it will be blocked if you send this number to List R.    Question: What does the caller person hear---that you’re completely blocked from calling you----does it just ring like your not home or do they hear a message that they’re been blocked? Answer: It just ring like your not home, caller hear phone is ringing, but your phone does not ring.   Question: One thing that could have possibly contributed to this behavior is that I tried to enter 303-***-**** and 720-***-**** in the R-list (* is the wild card, i.e., space) to block calls from Colorado. The only problem for me is that I have an answering machine integrated with the phone and caller ID (one of those Panasonic cordless things). When I have your controller in front of such an integrated phone, the answering machine still works but the caller ID on the phone does not. However, the caller ID on the controller works great. And answering machine need set ring 6 times (or more ), no less then ring 4 times.   Question; Is there a way to reset the memory in this thing and start programming over? Answer: To reset the memory: 1.         Press the “Menu ” button until display reads “Set Phone number by keys” 2.         Press the “Enter" button to select. 3.         The following screen will appear.     T: 000-000-0000     use   up, down, left, right,  keys,  set as T: 0 0 0 –0 0 0 - _ _ _ _  ( 4 space ) Then  Press “Enter" button. The light will become red and green  (only 4 seconds).   Question; I find only 1 other like it, what a shame. Their seems to be hard to use and maintain and yours is too limited. Your "R-list" function is the only practical function of this device but has the smallest database number size: 20 numbers, you got this is backwards. Answer: This Ring Controller device can block unlimited calls, not only 20 numbers if set up "Ring List A and B only" for 24 hours, then all unlisted phone call will be blocked. Comment: I got your Caller ID (with Ring Controller) just the other day, and wanted to tell you how nice it is. Those what it does might be semi-basic, it does do it, and it does it GREAT!
