Power to spare.  This is the big dog! This is a discrete two speed 4-Channel reel to reel and a 2 channel recorder/player.  It has auto reverse, sound on sound and sound with sound.  It is silent, no power supply noises, no crackling noises.                                                                                             I have owned this reel to reel since new and it has been in operation for over 37 years without ever a failure.  It is in excellent condition and everything works.  All lights function except the forward button light, which has been out for so long I forget if it even has a light.  The cabinet is perfect except a small side back corner ding, very small.  In 1994 I changed the heads  as a maintenance procedure and they were worn some.  They are in fine shape today.  These are not glass heads. With this unit you get a set of schematics (very rare full set).  Also included are cables made for this unit and the set-up tape with 4-channel music that came with it.  Plus the reel shown.                                 I am still searching for the operation manual but that comes up on eBay from time to time.   Consider it is missing.  This unit is very heavy, weighing 51 lbs before packing material.  I will ship UPS Ground.  Please email me with questions.  You are bidding on a real fine unit.  Happy bidding! On Nov-23-08 at 10:12:06 PST, seller added the following information:Included with this unit is the schematics.  It would be near impossible to repair these old units without the prints.  These prints are very valuable but come with the unit.  My first impression was to sell the schematics alone but decided against it.  You get these prints, the take up reel, the 4 channel demonstration tape and the cables that came with the unit.  These cables hook up to the back of the unit and the other ends to your stereo.  The Demo Tape has lively sound in true 4 channel.    Place a Bid!
