(Serial # 230)I had the mic modified by Tracy Korby in year 2000; he put a C12 capsule in it and modified amp/electronics.  The photo of the korby bill is included in the pictures; and you can see serial number on bill and on mic.I used this mic for recording my personal voice only in my home studio. it has never left my house except when sent to tracy korby.  A smoke free environment....I have always put it back in the flight case once done recording my voice.  and my recording was done only on weekends....only pulled it out when I was ready to do the vocal...then back in the flight case covered with a plastic cover.It is in perfect condition....no flaws...pristine...and sounds just as it did after I got it back from korby in year 2000.Also worth noting, when tracy was testing it after his mod; he told me it sounded better than a vintage telefunken elam 251 he had just restored.....so in other words, this mic sounds beautiful.Look at my feedback....you are getting a great microphone.  I am parting with it for other things I want.  and I still have a U87ai that I can use.As for the price.  these cost $5000 new; and the korby mod costs $1400 today.  so that is $6400 worth of mic for you.It comes with everything I got with it: flight case, power supply, mic, stand holder, cable, key, foam cover and all the paperwork.  you can see it all in the photos.I pulled the mic cover off so you can see the internals; how perfect they are....very easy to do, 3 small screws.email me if you have questions!  you are getting a great mic.  I am putting it up for a fixed price...no bidding.you won't be sorry you got it....I never had been...I've recorded my voice with it for 14 years.
