The unit will begin a start up process and automatically re-stabilize the alcohol sensor. The LCD display will undergo a countdown sequence, indicating that purge cycles and circuit tests are taking place. This process generally take 30 seconds but can last 2 minutes. The warm up process is complete once two beeps sound, the WAIT sign turns off, and 0.00 is displayed on LCD screen. Blow in the unit:Making sure your mouth is close to the sensor, blow a deep breath for at least 2 seconds.
