We have 2 excellent reel to reel techs completely refurbish our units. We test and adjust: input/output, tape bias set, all transport controls, all playback and recording functions.  We completely guarantee our reel to reels to be as they are described.  Why take chances on Ebay with units described as "AS IS", or "worked fine before being stored" 95% of the time, a reel to reel will need service to function as it should. Direct Drive (no drive belt to wear out). synchronous reproduce mode which it makes it possible to switch the record head of either channel to the reproduce mode for monitoring that channel. Thus, channels recorded at different times are in perfect synchronization. Balanced input/output. See photos. Bright display. Tested and adjusted for playback/record with a calibration tape.
