It has an aluminum case and weighs in at about 590g and measures 209x107x19mm. There is also an impressive 7 in. screen and huge storage capacity with the 100GB hard drive. Not only can you schedule the AV 700 to record live television for playback later, but view pictures, listen to music, watch movies, or simply use it as an external hard drive. Any file format can be stored on the device. This is a Windows Media player device so connect the USB cable and drag and drop. The player comes with a case, charging cord and dock to hook up to your television, with 2 composite cables and S-Video, allowing you to hook your archos up to any tv with composite (red white and yellow) input. USB cable also included. the instruction manual is included. The player has a small "kickstand" on the back to help prop it up for easy viewing and is very easy to navigate.
