This set was bought new in early 2008 with the matching Sony stand for over $6,000.00 and is worth every penny. The images produced by the SXRD engine are unbelievable. Search Google for the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this model. This set rivals the pictures of LCD TV's but with a much larger picture. Unfortunately I am moving into smaller digs so my loss is clearly your gain.
