Description
Hi everyone.  So up for auction is a large bunch of B&O stuff.  I removed this system from a clients house to install some new stuff.  I don't really know anything about B&O stuff, other than this entire system was working fine when we removed it.  It's kind of old, so I am not sure how useful it will be to someone who doesn't have something like it, or is just a B&O freak!  It comes with everything you see in the pictures.  I found an invoice from the original install and it listed the following model numbers.  The CD changer is a Beosound 9000.  The large box thing is a Beosystem 1.  This piece was feeding a plasma with component video from a theater system, apparently it will accept 480 and 1080i, but nothing else.  All of the house wide music stuff was wired through this huge box too.  There were 4 amps, which are insanely heavy, that say ML/MCL converter, they had wires going out to the 4 controllers which were then linked to keypads and speakers.  The other piece is a little splitter thing that hooked all 4 amps to the large unit, that's the ML distributor.  The little silver round piece is I believe an IR receiver that wires into the system to do control. Sorry, all of the speakers were in wall models which stayed in the house.  There were 2 desktop keypads, and 3 in wall keypads, again, may be limited usefulness here for people.  These all had IR receivers built in to work with the remotes.  There is a picture of 5 remotes, 3 of which I believe are the Beolink 5000, one of these is brand new.  There are 2 remotes without LCD screens, and I found an additional one of these that isn't in the picture.  When I removed the converters and such, I left parts of the wires attached, in case somebody wants to hook this stuff back together.  Also not in the picture is a huge pile of wires that includes everything this system was hooked up with.  I wrapped up every single cable that was attached to anything that said B&O and will include it in the auction.  As for the system itself, it was purchased in late 2004 from the B&O store on Newbury street in Boston, MA.  At least the large box and the CD changer were apparenlty purchased then, I think the other stuff is older.  I'll pull the CD out and get the date off of it, someone let me know where I can do that, and I didn't want to go pulling things out without knowing. Feel free to ask questions, and I will do my best to answer.  This aution is being sold "As Is" and I can olny say that everything powered on and was working perfectly when I took it out.  I don't know alot about B&O as a brand, but I will try to answer every question as best as I can.  I'm sellnig this for my client right now so I can't split the auction up, at least not the first time around...  If you're in the New England area I can also do pickup/delivery if you don't want to ship, it's alot of stuff!
