Description
We enjoyed so much - it is beautiful! Sounds wonderful! Bang & Olufsen (B&O, OMX: BO B) is a Danish company that designs and manufactures high end audio products, television sets, and telephones. It was founded in 1925 by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, whose first significant product was a radio that worked with alternating current (AC), when most radios were run from accumulator batteries. Products by B&O are intended to reflect cutting edge industrial design, in appearance, function and operation. Many of its products in the 1970s and 80s were designed by Jacob Jensen, whose design firm still operates today. Jacob Jensen’s design is exhibited in a number of art and design museums around the world. The most significant of the international exhibitions is the solo exhibition at MoMA in New York in 1978: “Bang & Olufsen – Design for Sound by Jacob Jensen”. Here are the details of each piece: The Beomaster 8000 was the most powerful receiver ever produced by B&O. It was also the largest and among the most expensive. As well as bringing new levels of performance and quality, the Beomaster 8000 also introduced a new range of features. Beocord 8004 cassette deck has its own microcomputer which is also responsible for one of Beocord 8004's most advanced and unique features - the real-time tape counter. Actual minutes and seconds are used to measure elapsed time so you always know how much recording time is left to fill. Beogram 8002 turntable was a 'state-of-the-art- product with a performance capability as near ideal as anyone had up till then devised. The platter was driven not by a conventional motor, but by a unique tangential-drive system that had no moving parts and no physical contact with the turntable. Beogram CD 50 is Bang & Olufsen's very first CD player and is a front-loading CD player. We have all the remotes, manuals and cables - sounds like new! Manufactured: 1982 - 1987Designer: Jacob JensenColours: Teak, Rosewood, White
