The tubes will last 8000 hours +, they are in good shape. Original MEC tubes, not rebuilds in this one. 1200 lumens out of 8" EM focusing tubes. Scheimpflug adjustments for accurate corner focusing. Astig and electronic focusing with numerous zones per tube to get that razor sharp detail. 75 Khz scan rate makes the set good for past line quadrupling, all resolutions of HDTV, line doubling, tripling, computers, etc. Capable of Blu Ray and HD DVD projection. Good for past 1280 X 1024 resolution. Video, S-video, and RGB inputs for accepting a wide variety of signals. Modular construction make future service easy, unlike the disposable digital sets that you throw out the second they break out of warranty. Digital convergence with on screen menus guide you through the simple set up. Near silent operation from the three fans in the set.
