This radio includes the AM transmitter, AM/SSB receiver. I have various Astatic D-104 and other microphones available on separate auctions. My husband, who passed away a couple of years ago, was an avid collector and operator of vintage radio equipment (I am not highly knowledgeable on the subject). I plugged the system in and everything powers up. There isn't a scratch on the face of either the transmitter or receiver, they are in the best possible condition. The inside of the unit is quite clean considering the age of the equipment (see photos).   I've posted several photographs of this radio (inside and out) to show its fine condition. Even the knobs are in great shape. It appears that this radio is stock from the factory with no modifications. All twenty three channels are plug-in type crystals and are very easy to change and are readily available. One other note, the receiver will cover from channel one to channel twenty eight as manufactured by the factory. This complete unit will be shipped in two boxes. One box for the receiver and the other box will include the AM transmitter. I will be charging a flat rate of $50.00 for shipping which includes insurance. As with any electronic equipment of this vintage, it is being sold as-is, but to the best of my knowledge it is in good working order.
