This subwoofer package comes with a trio of high quality name brand 6.5" subwoofers (for which we're authorized dealers for, so it's legitimate warranteed product, but I can't mention the name here-sorry!) and wrapped in factory carpet.  If you're unsure what color carpet you have, no problemo, I'll send out a carpet swatch book when you order so you can confirm the color in person.  I use genuine oem carpet from Germany to wrap these.  This enclosure fits the coupe only, but not the cabriolet.  This setup does not affect the rear seats in any way, this goes on the lower "step" behind the rear seats and effectively makes the area flat and is low profile and hard for someone to notice when looking through the window. 'Bottom line, these are not boomy or overpowering subwoofer setups by any means, but rather tight, accurate, controlled and natural sounding bass response.  These are the same enclosures advertised in Excellence magazine , mentioned on popular forums and also on our website, caraudioinnovations.com  An amplifier is required to power this subwoofer setup (just as with any subwoofers), please inquire about amplifier options. This is a high quality subwoofer enclosure with optimum airspace for the included subwoofers with a custom grill.  There are no modifications made to your car. This is a seamless installation too, I created this before Bose started building their inferior poor sounding plastic enclosure in the same location.  Without a quality subwoofer setup in these cars you have absolutely no low end punch, that's where I started with my 911SC back in beginning of my business.  I've built a business helping other Porsche owners with this subwoofer setup as well as full systems including speakers, headunits, and detailed installation instructions.  Please indicate year of car and carpet color if known.  Let me know also if you have regular Carrera (C2), Carrera 4 (C4) or a Carrera 4S or Turbo.  There is a slight difference in dimensions with the Turbo and C4S which we account for as needed.
