It does have some rub marks on the front. These marks were gotten while inside the bump case. I believe dirt got in and rubbed them in, as shown in the pictures. There is a 1/16 inch chip above the LAN port, as shown in the photos. The screen has no dead pixels or significant scratches. It is the "View Anywhere" screen, so it is visible in high-light conditions. The stylus is of the magnetic type and is a pretty solid performer. There is no Windows XP disk because of the built-in backup OS loader through Acronis with Windows XP disk partition. Acronis gives the option to, at boot time, to re-install Windows XP. I used this with the BT-338 bluetooth GPS receiver, included. This GPS works great, even indoors. All of the Chartcase software and maps is downloadable from the internet. I love that!
