This listing is for very rare pair of original early Marantz 9 rack mount faceplate mono block tube amplifiers. The amplifiers are all original inside and come with choice of Siemens/Telefunken or Mullard EL34 FX2 series output tubes your choice with BUY IT NOW. The serial numbers of the amplifiers are only 13 numbers apart and they are: 9-1789 and 9-1803. The amplifiers are very good/good cosmetic condition. There are some scratches and blemishes and a little bit of beginings of rust. The amplifiers have their original Marantz 9 tube cages. These amplifiers look to be completely original underneath as you can see from the pictures. If you collect older tube gear and have never heard a pair of Marantz 9's it is something you should experience if it is possible. These Marantz 9s sound wonderful and are so quite that you cannot tell that they are even on when there is no source signal being put through them.
