If your item is a small package, your shipping options will include UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air. If the item you are buying is a TV larger than 26 inches, your shipping options will include Local Area Pick Up, Front Door Delivery, or White Glove Delivery. For detailed descriptions of these delivery methods, please read the following paragraphs: Local Area Pick Up is the lowest cost option for the shipment of the TV. We ship the TV from one of our warehouses to a freight terminal in your area. When it arrives, you are contacted via telephone to alert you to its arrival. At that point, you are welcome to go to the warehouse and pick it up during their regular business hours. Please note - if you opt for local pick up, it is incumbent upon YOU to inspect the TV at the point at which you take possession. Once you sign for the TV - you own it. Make sure you inform the warehouse staff that you will not accept the TV until you have adequately inspected it. Please see the list below for all of the local area pick up locations arranged by state. Front Door Delivery service places your new TV just outside the main entrance of your home or, if preferable, at your garage door. Front Door Delivery is performed on an appointment basis to ensure a convenient time for you to accept the shipment. This service is performed by one delivery person who moves your set into place using an appliance dolly. Front Door service is the fastest way to receive your new TV, requiring only 3-5 business days from pick up to delivery (assuming you are available to accept delivery). Front Door delivery is ideal for light-weight sets such as LCD, DLP or Plasma TVs. If you live in an apartment building and do not have a loading dock or freight elevator, you may want to consider White Glove delivery. White Glove Delivery is a premium service used for the delivery of high-end consumer products. The benefit of this service is that your merchandise is brought into your home, put into the room of your choice (within one floor up or down from the entrance), uncrated, plugged-in to ensure working order, and the packaging material is removed from your home. Should your residence be located in an extremely remote location, there may be an additional charge for delivery. Also note, White Glove delivery can require a few extra business days vs. Front Door or Local Area Pick Up. If your TV arrives damaged, you should refuse delivery and contact us immediately. We will promptly ship you a replacement TV at no charge. If your TV arrives and does not function properly after set-up, a certified manufacturers technician will come to your home to perform warranty service. If for any reason they are unable to fix the issue in your home they will take the set to their service center to complete repairs. Under these circumstances, the service professional is responsible for the removal and replacement of the set. We do not accept returns or exchanges on TV deliveries. If for any reason your TV fails to perform as-new during the warranty period and cannot be repaired by the factory service technician, a replacement TV may be issued by Second Act or the manufacturer directly. What if I receive a defective non-TV product? Please contact us at service@secondact.com to send us the defective non-TV unit, and we will send a replacement product upon inspection and receipt of the defective unit. All defective returns must be preauthorized by Second Act. We will refund return shipping charges you incurred when the unit is shipped via lowest cost ground freight from UPS, USPS or Fed Ex. Unless specifically authorized in advance by e-mail, merchandise must be complete and repacked in the original packing material. What if I don't like the product as much as I'd hoped? If you are not completely satisfied with your product, you may return it within 10 days of receipt for a refund. You will receive a full merchandise refund minus a 15% restocking fee. All returns must be preauthorized by Second Act. Please contact us in advance at service@secondact.com. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Merchandise must be repacked in the original packing material and be complete. For "truck freight" shipped orders, we will not accept a return once your merchandise has been delivered. What if I buy a product and the price changes later? We do not price-protect. Electronics is a commodity market and prices change day to day. Since we are 'opportunity buyers' we have inventory coming into our warehouse every day and the prices change all the time. When we get a better price, we pass the savings along.
