Gooding  In my humble opinion, this is the best accessory anyone needs for the iPod. I am a long distance lorry driver, and I have had several different variations of this type of thing in the past. The ease of use and practibility of the iTrip is superb. I travelled the other day from Liverpool to Rugby in convoy with my mate in the lorry behind me, and he could recieve the crisp , clear signal 400 metres behind me. Anybody who finds a serious fault with this is obviously a musical purist, who would'nt listen to compressed music anyway. Buy it, it's fantastic!! It's been driving me mad for ages that I have had to burn CDs for the car when all my music is digital. I was sure that this wasn't going to work, but I just plugged it in, tuned in my radio and that was it. The default channel had a slight crackle, but it took no time at all to find a frequency that had no interference (88.4 for me in London, if that's any help). Down, N.Ireland) I love my iPod but I am either in work, in the house or in my car. I bought this so I could listen to music of my choosing in the car. This does the job perfectly. Just find a frequency which isn't used - this is trickier than you think depending on how many banal radio stations clog your airways - tune your car radio and save the 'station', then set the iTrip to the same. Simple as that. The volume depends on the radio volume so it doesn't matter what your iPod volume is. And it charges your iPod so it never runs out of power. A must buy for anyone who spends a lot of time in the car. The presets are good for long drives, but chances are in a couple of hours of driving, I won't have to retune it. Rajah (London, England) I was a little concerned by some reviews but went ahead and bought my iTrip anyway. It works perfectly though my car creates some problems. The sound quality is good. No different to normal radio when bombing along the motorway with accompanying road noise. How anyone can complain about this is beyond me. My only problems are with our car. - The power is only supplied to the cigaretter lighter socket when the engine is on, so when parked you have to polute or go to standard radio. - The power connection can work loose so that the iTrip turns off.
