Mid driver-unconventional 7" unit utilizing dual motors and a low 1.9g cone mass. Woofer-10" low frequency driver is derived from the Apologue woofers and uses dual magnets. The result is very high efficiency and speed. The acceleration factor is so high that it exceeds planar drivers and the units are able to reproduce low frequency transients 10 times faster than conventional dynamic drivers. Crossover is constructed in a resin enclosure to dampen vibration, the internal crossover is of very complex design. The components chosen include polypropylene and copper capacitors and ultra thick inductors with vacuum impregnation, all built to Goldmund specification. The high slope design preserves low level ambient information and provides life like transparency that is unheard outside the concert hall. The seamless blending of the drivers results in top to bottom coherence that is approached only by the very best full range (no crossover) electrostatics. As in the Goldmund Apologue and Analogue proprietary Mechanical Grounding (TM) construction provides proper vibration evacuation. Removing extraneous vibrations results in extremely fast and coherent trransients with detail untouched by other designs. That this kind of neutrality can be realized from a design as efficient as the Super Dialogue is perhaps the most amazing achievement of all. The exceptional efficiency (96DB 1 w 1 M) and very simple impedence curve of thed Super Dialogue allow it to work with even modestly powered amplifiers. The dynamic range that is achieved using any high quality amplifier is unique in its ability to reprodcuce the full power of a symphony orchestra.
