Description This is a HARMAN KARDON CITATION II vintage stereophonic tube amplifier. Description: This is a HARMAN KARDON CITATION II vintage stereophonic tube amplifier. It is 60 watts per channel and uses the KT-88 output tubes. An expert tube amplifier builder (Reference Audio) has meticulously gone through this amp and brought this amp up to new factory condition. The technician has worked on amplifier designs for KR Audio and he personally put about $1000 worth of labour into this unit. It is actually better than stock for many reasons .It has an upgraded power cord, caps, Gold plated RCA connectors and Cardas speaker taps. Tubes are original NOS Tungsol and RCA tubes with lots of life left. The bias meter has been recalibrated and is accurate.  Any defective parts have been updated, but the original design remains in tact. It sounds fantastic. The amp is very clean with only minor wear and tear, no major dents,or bad scratches, rust, leaky, or burnt parts. The top plate has some extra holes drilled through the metal, which will provide extra heat dissipation. The faceplate has been upgraded to a lovely brushed aluminum style face. The transformers are a nice glossy brown--no missing paint--anything in the pictures is just glare from the flash. The output tubes do not have much use, and should last a long time before having to be replaced. The a/c cord is thick, and heavy . Actual amp is shown and will ship worldwide to the right buyer. This is one of the greatest amps of all time and outperforms many if not most modern amps. It has the best transformers of any amp in the opinion of many people. It has a very wide bandwidth and very extended bass and treble, especially for a tube amp.It comes with all tubes and is guaranteed to not be DOA.
