No disappointments here!   FREE DOUBLE BOXED SHIPPING, FREE INSURANCE WITH BUY IT NOW ONLY.   Here we have a Helix HX-4635 break dance ghetto blaster REPLICA of the one used in the movie "BREAKIN". My wife and I  show the radio in parades all over the mid-west. It really does bring a lot of attention and so many people know exactly what it is. The radio itself is very clean. It has some scratches & scuffs from over the years but not bad considering its age. It is still very shiny. Tuner lense has a few scuffs, tuner light works good, burglar alarm works great and is loud. VU meters work perfectly. Both feet on the back are in perfect condition and are not broken. Both cassette decks do not work. The bottom deck stopped working last summer when we were playing a cassette. You can still hear the motor wanting to function so that's a good thing. When turning off the unit you can hear the tape motor too( for a brief second), like it never fully disengaged when the belt snapped. The function switch needs cleaned. When its in stereo most of the music for some reason comes out of the right side. Mono and wide plays perfectly balanced. When we show it in parades we use the AUX line in to play old school rap & break dance songs with our ipod. Line in works perfect & sounds perfect. The cassette storage drawer is there and has its original chrome strip as well, but the drawer's spring doesn't seem to work right, but still opens and shuts. The Breakin designs are all  decals that do not fall off. The speaker grills are hand painted. It wouldn't take a lot to make this radio totally plain again if desired. You just need to paint the grills black and pull off all the decals and might would need some goo gone to remove the remaining glue left behind from the decals. If you love attention & love to show off, then this radio is for you. It blows our mind how many people recognize this monster.........even teenagers today know what it is. Every parade we show it in has countless people taking pictures of it and want to be seen in a picture standing next to it. NO RESERVE & this auction is "PRIVATE" so your user name will not be disclosed. Forgot to mention because its been a while since we last used the bottom cassette player, there is a small knub on both sides of the cassette door frame, one of the small knubs is missing(see pic) but you cant see it anyway when the door is shut. Playing cassettes was never a problem, but sometimes needs a finger to help open it.  Not a big deal but wanted to mention it. We use our ipod for everything now so I forgot to mention it, we appoligize. Alot of people are asking how exactly is this done. The radio has both decals & paint. The speaker grills & the yellowish decals on the insides of both woofers are hand painted. The lavender area is first done by laying down white (expensive) electrical tape, then over top we glued the lavender which is colored poster board. The switches were done this way too for a more color matched look a like. Doing it this way also allows for all the decals to be taken off if desired and even the areas that are glued are not ruinned because they are on top of electrical tape so taking them off wouldnt ruin the radio from the glue. We used contact cement with tooth picks so just enough was used to get the job done and not messy looking with glue all over the place. We chose this way because we didnt want to ruin the cabinet by painting it. After reviewing the original in the movie Breakin, it is very clear that everything done on that radio was stickers, and if you have a good dvd player, you can zoom in very close and see that the job wasnt even in alot of places. The grills were painted because it is nearly impossible to duplicate the original decals. We know because not only did we try it, but we did alot of digging for information and everyone we spoke with said the same thing. Semi gloss could easily bring the grills back to normal. We hope this helps...
