I have enjoyed using this receiver for many years; it has given me much pleasure in those winters evening listening to the voices and music from throughout the world of shortwave. Being and engineer I respect high quality equipment; I have taken care of this unit and as you can see from the photos it is in perfect condition; it feels and looks like new and works perfectly. Unfortunately I have moved into a small space living arrangements and I no longer have the opportunity to put up a Shortwave antenna. I still use the unit occasionally with a short wire hanging out the window and it is amazing the stations it can pull in; however it frustrates me that I cannot connect it to a descent antenna. As a result I have decided to reluctantly sell it. Please make contact with me for shipping costs and packing arrangements. I think it is best if the unit is professional packed before sending. I am happy to arrange pickup in the Melbourne CBD area if you wish; this will avoid any risk or cost of postage. Happy to post overseas; you can get postage costs from the Australia post web site at http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/int_parcel_type.asp Good bidding P.S. Sony Headphones are not included in the sale - sorry. On 01-Jul-08 at 21:13:14 AEST, seller added the following information: Update on the Unit Condition: My wife read the advert and told me that it was unfair to say that the unit was perfect as there is a small dent in the plastic in the top right of the unit. She has better eyesight than me and she spotted the defect; I honestly never noticed it. In the interest of being fair to the ebay buyers I have added an extra picture to show the dent. I appologise if you feel I misslead the bidders. If any bidder is not happy with this; I am happy to withdraw their bid; simply contact me to arrange it. - Positano99
