Nearly 40 years old ! Serial Number 069478. SPEAKER IS STAMPED "November 19, 1969." The radio measures 12" by 7" by 6".   Beautiful example of the classic 1960's KLH model 21 FM radio. These radios were known for their outstanding FM reception.   This radio has been meticulously restored as follows: Grille cover, knobs, face plate were all removed and thoroughly cleaned. The cabinet was restored with Howard's Restor-a-Finish and refinished with several coats of oil. NO SANDING. The foam “weather stripping” was replaced. This is essentially a single acoustic suspension speaker, complete with a “pillow” of sound damping material, so the box has to be airtight.  Felt feet (pads) were replaced. The large power supply cap was replaced as preventive maintenace, to prevent 60 cycle hum. Original knobs, power cord, grille. Kloss signature vernier dial tuning. The lettering is all clear. The Model Twenty One has jacks for tuner output, extra speaker output, and remote speaker alone, which disables the internal speaker. It even has the original covers on the external speaker and tuner output jacks to maintain an airtight seal. Being nearly 40 years old, there are a few small scratches, as seen in the photos. I do not believe in sanding veneer unless absolutely necessary, and this  radio has NOT been sanded. I’m including PROFESSIONALLY PRODUCED REPRINTS of the Owner's Manual AND the Service Manual note: this is a later version of the 21, with the Waller Tuner. I will also include a Waller Tuner schematic. This (or the KLH Model Eight) may be the best table radio ever built.
