This unit was one of the last produced because it was manufactured by SMC. It is in excellent condition, and works flawlessly. Synch feature works real well to stop fading conditions on shortwave broadcast stations. This unit also works well in SSB mode. Radio comes with a MFJ power adapter. Audio quality is excellent thru it's top speaker. I have used this unit with batteries and it works well. Also included is a stand by Motorola that can prop the radio up for a better viewing angle.
