The House System connects to any Motorola Minitor II, III, IV, or V Amplified Charger with the 5 pin DIN accessory connector on the back  (See the picture below). When your pager goes off, the House System activates a 120VAC (regular household voltage/current) receptacle for approximately 2 minutes . This gives you time to get up, dressed & out the door without tripping over anything or falling down the steps. The House System is housed in a black box about the size of the Amplified Charger. The House System is tested prior to shipping and is guaranteed to work (I use each house system at work for a 24hr shift prior to listing it on eBay to ensure it works as described). Other comparable products are available on eBay but are more expensive & do not have the features of the House System. House System features: 120 VAC receptacle to turn on a light Peizo Buzzer that sounds for approx. 3 seconds. Only one piece to carry back & forth to work on the overnight shift. Thanks Mike (it's for a real whacker, not me) But he's a lot like me..ha ha Sure, If you win the auction, we can talk about any upgrades you'd like. im assuming i could get a 10" potter fire bell thats 120v .5amp and wire a plug to the end of the wire and plug it into the back of your box as long as i stay under the 3amps. also plug in a rotating 120v red light not sure on v or amps looking into it. Sure, that would work just fine. Please keep in mind that the fire bell and the rotating light will BOTH be on for the same amount of time, around 1 minute. If memory serves, a Potter Fire Bell is pretty loud and you may not be able to hear the dispatch. If you would like, I could build one that has two 120 VAC receptacles that stay on for different times so that your bell doesn't ring as long if ive already got something plugged into the acc. port on my amp. charger. like the station bell. then what can i do to get both plugged in? and is it powerfull enough to illuminate fluoresent ceiling lights? To get both plugged in, I could add a component to this house system that you could plug the bell into which would activate when the House System activates. I don't have the components so I would have to order them. You may find that the Peizo buzzer is loud enough to replace a single station bell. As far as the fluorescent lights, as long as they draw less than three amps, it will work. Two or three fluorescent lights would be fine, an entire engine bay would probably be a problem.
