Description
You are bidding on a Phase Linear Model 700 Series Two Audio Standard Amplifier that was produced from the late 1970's through the early 1980's & is rated @ 350 watts per channel & had a list price of approximately $1,120.00 & the serial # is 8127. This unit was just fully serviced by PhaseTek out in Seattle, Washington where Dean (& am sure many of you know about Dean anyways) is the last factory trained Phase Linear Service Department technician still doing repairs & tech support & back in the late 70's/early '80's he spent 6 1/2 years in the service department. He, along with his neighbor/partner Ed, repair & service vintage Phase Linear equipment in their spare time. [Note: Please be VERY patient when contacting them... they do this as a hobby, not a business!]. This one Ed went completely through himself & provided for you below is exactly what was done to it & performed on it along with actual cost, labor & parts breakdown (& provided for you in the pics. if you can make it out). Unit is 100% ready to go & functions & works perfect & sounds just great & am sure the winning bidder will be happy with this one. Cosmetics - The faceplate, meter display glass, both handles... all are in excellent condition. All 4 edges of the faceplate are super nice & clean. Only one small little nick.scratch on the faceplate & that is on the bottom left side portion between the left side handle & meter window (See pic. of this tiny blem). Both of the large round knobs are in nice condition as well. All silkscreen lettering is intact & perfect. This is just a really nice & clean amplifier & am sure the winning bidder will be happy with this one. Sorry, I do not have the original Owner's manual or box. Winning bidder to pay actual shipping costs (This item will ship FedEx Ground) + an additional $17.50 for double boxing & packing material & I ship U.S. ONLY! I will only accept PayPal, money order or a cashier's check for this item (No personal check please). ALSO, PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION OR YOU WILL BE LEFT - FEEDBACK. I SIMPLY WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE THESE 2, 3 & EVEN 4 WEEKS TO PAY WINNING BIDDERS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. Thanks & good luck. RE: Phase Linear 700 II Amplifier: S/N 8127 (received 7/17/2008) Blows fuses! Left Channel Out.
