If you only drive these amps with 2-3 watts and no more then 25 watts of modulation, they will do the best performance you can ever get an amp to do. Which is what is recommended for these amps. The HD, means that they will work with the radios of today that are set up to put out 12 - 15 watts of power and will not burn the amps up if you power them with up to that much power.
