THE STOPPER LED SECOND BRAKE LIGHT FOR MOTORCYCLES THIS IS A SECOND BRAKE LIGHT FOR MOTORCYCLES IT MOUNTS ON THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF YOUR LICENSE PLATE. IT COMES WITH STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE AND IS VERY EASY TO INSTALL. IT IS A L.E.D. UNIT. VERY BRIGHT. I ALSO HAVE EASY TO INSTALL RESISTOR THAT WILL TURN THE STOPPER INTO A RUNNING LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT THAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE BUT CAN BE ADDED FOR $8.00 ON TOP OF SALE PRICE OF THE STOPPER. LETS FACE IT YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TO MANY LIGHTS ON THE BACK OF YOUR BIKE TO KEEP YOU SAFE. “STOPPER” INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1) Attach your new “STOPPER”. A) Using the enclosed hardware, mount your “STOPPER” to the top or the bottom of your license plate. 2) Locate your connection wires. A) Turn your ignition on. B) Using a voltage meter, locate the POSITIVE (hot) wire of your brake light that is live (hot) only when you apply your brakes. Mark it. C) Using the voltage meter again, this time locate the NEGATIVE (ground) wire. Mark it. 3) TURN OFF YOUR IGNITION! 4) Make the electrical connections. A) Connect the POSITVE wire that you located earlier to the RED wire of the “STOPPER”. B) Connect the NEGATIVE wire that you located earlier to the BLACK wire of the “STOPPER”. Your new “STOPPER” will illuminate when ever your brakes are applied. If you would like to use your “STOPPER” as a running light as well as a brake light you may purchase GYB kit # 1997-2 from your dealer. The “STOPPER” is intended to be used only as a second brake light. NEVER disconnect your factory brake light.
