Are you getting New, Warranted Products, INCLUDING everything the Manufacturer put in the box???   Some sellers will claim they are shipping new goods, and then you get refurbished goods that were fixed from the manufacturer.  Perhaps you’re getting “Grey Market” goods which are products that are labeled for use in another country, and suppose to ship out of the US, but ended up staying here.  Manufacturers put discounts on these products to alleviate shipping charges to other countries.  The PROBLEM is when they come back to the US; they are NOT covered under warrantee in the US by the manufacturer!  After you’re done getting a guarantee in writing that you are getting brand new US goods with full warranty, you need to make sure they are FACTORY SEALED.   The second biggest scam aside from shipping games is opening the box of your new TV, and stealing products out of the box.  We hear about it all day long, people call us trying to buy remotes and BASE STANDS!  90% of the flat panel LCD’s and Plasmas come with a base stand to set the screen on a piece of furniture—without it, you can not set the screen anywhere.  Some of these companies are stealing your products right out of the box.    CAN YOU CONTACT THE SELLER EASILY WITH ANY QUESTIONS & IF SO, DO THEY HAVE ANSWERS & A PHONE NUMBER?:   If your getting ready to spend more than just a few dollars online, make sure you can reach the seller!  Do they have a phone number?  If it is a company selling online, did they bother to offer you a toll free number?  If you send an email or make a phone call during standard business hours, you should expect an email back within no more than a few hours. Typically, if you find it hard to reach someone to answer your questions prior to making a purchase, you may have the same problem afterwards! After your order, you may need to obtain shipping information, resolve an issue with a physically damaged shipment or non-working unit, or get an answer while setting up the system.  Many sellers may just be interested in selling a box, making their profit, and moving on.  WATCH OUT FOR CUSTOMER RATINGS ON CERTAIN SHOPPING WEBSITES & HOW DO YOU READ EBAY FEEDBACK?:   Ebay is one of the only sites today where you must be a customer of the seller in order to leave feedback.  When looking at Ebay feedback, do not just go by how high the feedback number is.  Actually take a moment to click on the feedback, and read the reviews.  Do many of them just say one word?  Or do some of the feedbacks left show a positive rating, but a negative comment about overpriced hidden fees, missing parts out of the boxes, etc? Make sure you read the feedback and look for info on hidden fees, overcharging after the sale, etc. Many folks on eBay do not leave negative feedback, knowing that is exactly what they will receive in return.  Take the time to really research the company you’re considering a purchase from.  Unfortunately, some folks build feedback based off of the ‘scare’ they will leave the other person negative feedback, and possibly a non-paying bidder alert. Those shopping websites that look like they are comparing pricing to show you the best deals, are really only giving you a listing of the companies that pay to advertise on their websites.  ANYONE can leave feedback for any seller on those sites, and that is exactly what many of these sellers do.  They leave themselves positive feedback every day to overshadow the negatives.  Take notice many negatives are a few paragraphs long, and how positives are one line responses? DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ; WATCH OUT FOR ONLINE TV REVIEWS!   Watch out for Online TV Reviews that claim to write honest, non-bias reviews about today's technology.  Take a closer look; do you notice that many, if not all of the advertising or recommended companies on the guide are based out of the same area?  There is a reason for this.  These companies are registering the buying guide under a different address, clear across the country, and then writing articles/reviews about products, and places to purchase based off of what will drive you to purchase from one of their own stores.  Your best bet is to read home theater magazines or hard copy, well known published consumer guides to help aid in your buying decision.       Delivery & Damage Policies: You will recieve a 2-4 hour scheduled delivery appointment with the trucking company.  At delivery, you MUST open and carefully inspect the screen for any damages.  If there is any damage to the screen, it must be refused at delivery in order to be covered by our insurance policy. **Make sure you do NOT sign for a screen without either inspecting it first, or writing "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the paperwork the driver presents you with at delivery (in the rare event the driver will not let you inspect the screen).  Make sure you and the driver both have copies with this information noted. Once you refuse the delivery, give us a call and we will ship a new unit out to you immediately.  Defective / Non-working Product Policy: Any display technology you purchase from us (Plasma, Projection, or LCD) comes with a 10 day DOA policy; If we can not fix the unit trouble shooting with our technical support over the phone, we will have it immediately repaired or replaced with a new unit through the manufacturer. You must contact us first to allow us to fix the problem, and upon finding the system is in need of repair, we will issue you an RA number, and have the system repaired/replaced in a quick and efficient manner. (Some manufacturers do require that we have your local repair center look over the screen prior to issuing the swap-out authorization, but we work directly with the manufacturer, repair center, and yourself to make sure it is done in a timely fashion.)  Return & Cancellation Policy (for non-damaged, non-defective units): If you would like to return an item for reasons other than technically related issues or damages, you may be subject to a restocking fee up to 15%.  However, we strive for 100% satisfaction of our customers, and we will do our best to accommodate you.   Service after the Sale: You have Lifetime Technical Support with our company!  Whether it is 5 months, or 5 years, you can always contact us to help in troubleshooting your system.  If we cannot fix the issue over the phone, we will work with you and the manufacturer or extended warranty firm to make sure a repairperson is dispatched to your location as soon as possible.  After we troubleshoot the system, we can provide you with a service tag that will go over our trouble shooting and help the repair center better understand what is going on with your unit.      Sales Tax (NY ONLY):   We are required to collect sales tax for orders shipped within New York State only.  The sales tax collected is based off of your local rate where the parcel is delivered.    Can orders be picked up?   We can schedule a pickup with you, however, you will be liable for Suffolk County Sales tax of 8.625%, a pickup fee (which varies on where the product is shipped in from), and you must waiver all rights to damage coverage once the unit is picked up.  We recommend you have the product shipped to you, so you are fully insured all the way to your doorstep where you can inspect the product.    Typographical Errors:   Beyond Plasma shall not be held responsible for typographical errors.  In the instance there was a typo in our ad (which is extremely rare!
