Scott 330D FM / AM Tube Tuner    This tuner is a beautifully crafted piece, and an interesting part of hifi history.    In the early days of stereo radio broadcasts, one channel was in FM and the other in AM. Receivers capable of receiving the stereo broadcasts had to be able to receive both AM and FM simultaneously.    This Scott 330D can receive AM & FM boradcasts simultaneously, or individually, in mono format. Even in mono the sound is warm, glorious, and reminiscent of days gone by . . . .    This tuner is is marvellous shape. It has been refurbished: tubes have been checked and replaced; all of the coupling capacitors have been replaced with modern propylene types, and the main electrolytic (can) capacitor is brand new. (see the parts picture). It is a beautiful, fully-functioning specimen in unusally good condition. Included is a copy of the schematic and parts list.
