A VERY unique and rare piece of Broadcast Audio equipment. This would be used by radio advertising salespeople to audition commercials for clients away from the radio station. The briefcase carrier has room for a few "carts", accordion folder for paperwork, built in amplifier with speaker. Volume and tone controls. It apparently had rechargable internal batteries, but it has since stopped holding a charge. Unit powers up, and motor comes to speed slowly. I suspect a belt may need replacing, as the motor/capstan comes to speed quicker if case is placed upright.
