Description
For sale is a WxWorx Model WXP03D8V weather receiver that was purchased from Navair Airgator. Airgator (see Airgator.com) sold bundles that included Toshiba personal data assistants (PDA) for displaying weather and navigation data on PDA displays. What is up for auction includes the WxWorx weather receiver, XM weather antenna, cigarette lighter for 12 volt power, the black power distribution junction box that tied everything together, and the PDA cradle where I used a Toshiba 805 PDA and an aluminum angle bracket that I made so that I could place it on the glareshield of my airplane. Note that the Toshiba PDA is not included in the auction. Also note that the WxWorx receiver was modifed by Airgator at the power port to accomodate a telephone type power cord which ties into the black power distribution junction box. The receiver was working when removed from my airplane. All that is needed to make this system work is a Toshiba 805 PDA and a subscription to XM Weather.
